Second 1 Mil Partner
Got my Second 1 Mil BP partner today!! :DAs I have acquired him, as well as my acquiring Tensa Zangetsu, I have really taken a liking to him so now I want to pump him up. So my thread is for any advice on what I should focus on as I intend to beef him up. I get that he one of the more offensive Vanguards and I am not really used to those so I need a little guidance on some good trends to focus on.
I am working towards his exclusive skill right now. He is lvl 46 in that

The very first thing I always check everytime there is a vanguard picture is the critical, pump it up yo, the block can crits, most of the block damage comes from the crit alone.
Then there are the mods to change to the block :
>Add 10% extra HP (If you do not have a liking with the HP, change it)
>Add 12% extra Speed (Definitely change if you don't plan to run a speedy vanguard)
>Immune Stun (Depends if you encounter the stunners in CSB, so you keep attacking/skilling while blocking)
>When being attacked, have 50% chance to restore own HP, growth rate is 12% (Keep it, period)
>Immune Silence (Like the stun immunity, though it's rareer to find a muter for vanguard)
>All allies have 15% chance to immune fury reduction and immune stun. (Help against kokutos especially, 15% chance to not get your fury drained by his mod, but change it anyway since it is more team-oriented than solo-vanguard)
>Immune Fury Deduction (If you are T1 and rely on the skill, keep it, otherwise it is quickly compensated by having a fury deathmod (like Kisuke, Noble Isane...) in formation, the only partner that will fuck your fury up is Yhwach)
The straight build is to change all mods to block but the 4th.
Weirdly, his damage rate seems low compared to the immune rate, those are the stats without Tensa (because my reading skill can be retarded sometime) and with 2/2/2 (Aquaria/Firelord/Dark) pieces of gear ?
Who is the first 1m BP partner if I may ask ? (Assuming they both are stacked and not balanced) Dang. I did not realize block was pumped so much...but thank you for this input! Especially the crit, that is good knowledge to have!

My formation overall at the moment is a 2-2-1 (all t1 with Shinso Gin)

One more thing with crit, my spirit stones are maxed out and I don't really have room for 6 crit stones (using 3 atm) but I do have hit stones in all 6. Should I drop the hit stones for the crit stones?
Nice Shinso, despite the lack of counter you will eventually get it to the max naturally with the time, like the crit on TSI.
You would have enough room for the crit stones if you socketed the gears before.
Personally on an offensive vanguard, I always put the offensive stuff before the Wisdom, in short I just replace the WIS by the crit.
Alternatively you can throw away some hit stones by the crit, you don't need the hit if you rely on the block, you may need to rely on Shinso or B.Renji to take down the dodgy partners.

Another build that is specific to TSI only is to make him speedy is to keep his 12% speed mod, put the AGI stones and have the following stuffs :
- Mugetsu rank
- Kyoka zanpakuto
- 6 pieces of the gear (preferably Azure)
The stuffs listed above are meant for the immune rate, Mugetsu gives 30%, Kyoka 30%, Azure 23% and his talent 12% make a total of 95% IMM (97% with the Nether), the cap is 99%.
You can replace Kyoka by Ichimonji for an extra 10% and have a lower tier of gear etc... There are many combinaison but what's important is to have near the cap of IMM with the 6-piece build.
Of course you can use the lower zanpakuto who gives 25% IMM like Tensa, Senbonzakura (vanguard-focused and gives +25% speed buff but no love for supports), whatever you find the most appropriate for your team and your TSI.
The only purpose for making a speedy TSI is to outspeed the assaulters (not supports, too fast for him) and put them the -25% ATK debuff from his skill, this way you nuke a bit the opponent team and take less damage, win-win.
Though it looks good on paper, I never saw or heard the experience from the racecar TSI, so it may not be good as I initailly thought. Congrats on 2nd 1mil BP partner! What Potdenutella gave you are really good advice. But I wouldn't recommend making TSI fast, because he can take a lot of hit before you think he can die. Support, on the other hand, you would like them to be fast. First, you will get buff (from zanpakuto/support) first to prevent damage on your team, or might as well kill off/badly damage some partners on the other team. I did go ahead and socket all of his gear so I have 8 total slots but I like the wisdom for the kido defense
