thanks now iam not totally lost XD Katakura Town Festival is the best place to get event partners for free...
Shin Isshin is probably the stand out powerhouse there for VIP0 and honestly, the enchant stones and fury stones will probably be better for you after you pick up Shin Isshin.... the rest of them there available for VIP0 can be matched/beaten from tavern...
white Ichigo is decent and with current game style, he's very getable for VIP0 with time
Muken Aizen is of course the golden child of VIP0 love but will take time... here is a pic of mine to see what he can be (and no he isn't quite maxed out on everything)
other than that, Cute Orihime from Soul Cultivation is a good grab for PVE... Yama's not a great choice, however he does have his places... that said, I am NOT a fan of Yama in any way, shape, or form

yama is a turd and can be easily bested with tavern partners... plus shin isshin dominates him in every place in the game except void, where the burn can easily be matched with Braggen Louis
and as for my Muken being boring, how about some more budget heat?
I spend my top ups on stuff other than partners as you can plainly see, and yes, those are different sets of gear... got 3x sets of azure, lol only reason I don't have 4x sets is because I don't need the speed boost on main, so I have him in 4x Azure, 2x Blaze

I'm VIP9... and yes, I dislike him for sure, and he's only holding a spot till I can either top up enough to get back renting to own Rajin again, or she comes to UBP where I can save 40k gold on her, lol (I already spent 10k on her)... although his 20% speed buff from skill is handy... too bad having him go first completely negates any bonus I can get from the damage from his skill
I"ve purchased lesser partners through the years, but ATM, yes, they are all on the bench except Shinso, lol
