For mostly PVE I switch them to an assualter for PVP
For PVE its a good way to keep a kick ass support alive I usually focus on building up the block stones on my Vanguard then once the gets to like level 6 or 7 block stones on each equip I head down to the support then my best assaulters that do the most damage. Having all your team surpass 90% blok is end of the game, yeah i tried once giving block to urahara so he lives longer but one thing is sure you'll ifng people in pvp with higher break defense*
As for pve only vg to sustain ryoka waves 60 and , in hueco i just give their stats are too much [email protected] replied at 2015-4-23 16:29 static/image/common/back.gif

wrong without vang u can survive till 66 wave
talk for your behalf mate not mine, last time i cheked my asaulters die without vg at wave 60,
also how can somebody be wrong about that it depends on your lvl gear and upgrades, a lvl80 will explode starting wave 50, while a lvl100 can do fine, if you're lvl120+ i'm willing to believe that wave 60 is doable without vg, it's a question of perspective mate so don't come and tell me that what i said is wrong, i'm playing this fuking game long enough to know at least what i'm saying is whrite.
PEACE! Typically:
Vanguard gets Block, Stamina, both Strength and Wisdom, Counter, and Dodge. Vanguard gets both Strength/Wisdom, otherwise they won't be able to tank the Supporters/Assaulters.
Assaulters typically get Strength, Stamina, Break Defense, Hit Rate, Critical Rate, and Counter/Block (Sometimes depending on which character you're using, when it comes to endgame)
Supporters: Wisdom, Stamina, Break Defense, Hit Rate, Critical Rate, and Counter/Block.
As for a team with Agility (Sometimes referred to as "First turn fury"), you'd replace the last of the listing, which would be the rightmost stone listed. Example:
Vanguard (Sometimes stays the same, this is also based on the skill. Starrk may benefit more from agility than a character such as NNoitra, etc)
Assaulters: Strength, Stamina, Break Defense, Hit Rate, Critical Rate, and Agility instead of Counter/Block
and so on. Kind of a boring option for spirit stones, and every character ends up with essentially the same stone sets either way. Edited by [email protected] at 2015-4-25 19:15
Block stones are good for assaulters and vanguard only.. Minimum lvl of 5..
For the supports.. Stamina. Counter. Wisdom. Strength. Critical. Agility..

It will be a good strategy by putting block stone on main character but it should be high lvl stone cuz you can attack back when you are being attacked by skill:lol
But to me, my recommendation is just focus your block stone to your vanguard cuz he is the mostly who will take damage from enemy :'(
If you want to make it more tactical, you can increase your vanguard damage to send back a high damage when blocking :victory:
