I already have the exact same Zabimaru Renji... But i just found another one in my bag wtf do i do with it? the only option is use... But i dont need it...

i see you got shinji, did you get him from the latest reio? did you recruit only shinji from the event?
naa, you cant upgrade an event player .

and if you havent tried to get renji, then it could either be a visual bug or it could be someone else whom you tried to get from reio. just 'use' to see what happens since its a free thingy for you(if so )
