the hot zone is about the outbreak of Ebola Reston that happened in Reston, VA. Also goes into the history of Marburg, Ebola Sudan and Zaire.
His other book Cobra Event, is about a genetically engineered virus that is used in a bio-terrorism attack.

They are rather good but very heavy in the field of virology and rather description of what the virus does to the body. I recommend if you don't have a strong stomach to not read it.
