ive rented whichigo cute ori and shinso and im running a 2-2-1 testing them out if by pve you mean "pve events" to maximize damage white ichi dont look good at all ,
but if you wanna buy something cheap as assaulter for dmg events you should definitely go for issin his "bug" combo is wtf :P
for normal pve to clear best free Assaulter might be SWP Ulquiorra his dots help alot and with a vip4 his upg might be for a best pve team (pvp included) :P
