Error with certain "Bond" characters
I've noticed a few users asking why characters such as Sado Chad/Rukia/Orihime have been unable to unlock the first attribute bond. I, myself, have also failed to unlock these characters bonds even with the First Stage at 3 stars, only Main and said partner in formation, and both with/without zanpakuto active. I've seen the majority of responses along the lines of "Gold characters are the only ones that can bond." This is untrue. I have already unlocked Momo and Yachiru bonds 1. The extra requirement is "Main character must have 30% total team hp when fight ends." I've done this and they are unlocked. So to those that say purple characters can not bond, you are ill informed.I believe the problem is in the "Main character must deal no less than 30% total damage." I've removed my zanpakuto, all items from all slots on my selected partner, and even went so far as to unlock the 10th team attack skill on my main just to one shot the opponent. The problem remains that characters with this requirement may have a code problem with either determining if the main character damage is over 30% <which as I said before, Destroy World one shots group in one turn. If that isn't 99% total team damage, I don't know what is.>
I ask that these characters bond requirements be checked to see if an error exists, or if someone would be kind enough to explain how a potentially two turn fight where the Main wipes the opponent with a single move and the partner does little to no damage with ALL items removed can be construed as "...no less that 30% team damage..."
Thank you for your time. I've also found out that Sado Chad and Orihime have an error with their second bond as well. The last requirements are: <Sado> "...no less than 50% hp at the end of fight..." <Orihime> "...no less than 70% hp at the end of fight..."
Today, I cleared these requirements easily using Destroy the World and not only did my character come out of both fights between 99-100% hp, but both Sado <with healing ability triggered to 100% hp> and Orihime <took 0 damage thus still at 100%> and yet both failed to unlock even when Stage Two is 3 star.
If anyone else has these problems or has successfully unlocked both bonds for them, plz let me know. I want to know if this is really an error/bug with the characters or if it is something else. I know right! I somehow unlocked Kiba Shiba ( the counter ability) for Chad. but I keep trying with others. it says 50% I clear battles even without healers with my team at 100% hp and only the vanguard at 97-98% health and still get denied it Edited by Kunpachi at 2015-8-10 00:20

So theres no way of unlocking ori/rukia/chads 1st and 2nd bond attributes but i can unlock other purple characters like rangiku renji and momo? Thanks for the correction about the hp values being 50% and 70%. However, the problem still persists as I can take next to no damage at all and have my main deal between 95-99% damage with the 10th last skill on the second turn. This also conflicts with the first attribute were the main is supposed to do no less than 30% total damage.
<To iya1201>: As far as I have seen personally, no. Ori/Rukia/Chad can not unlock a bond due to a problem. I have unlocked attribute bond with other purples like Momo and Yachiru. I don't have Rangiku or tavern Renji (I got the swp version). I have heard that K.Shiba has problems also, but I have not played with him. Did you manage to activate Yachiru second bond, the one with Renji? the first one with Orihime unlocked for me but not the second?
OK finally made it: the actual condition is :
Only Yachiru and Main (no zanpakuto) join the battle, win the battle with Yachiru dealing more than 50% of damage.
To pull it off remove equipments from the main and select the weakest skill you have, it does not matter if the main dies.
