UBP shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as the seretei attack. UBP never gave me increase in 100k raw bp, and got me from lvl 7 stones to lvl 9 etc. Saving for seretei attack is definetly worth. And after doing it and catching up with hogu and evo now that i'm on 0 i will never waste another vit for ubp again, only if it's zanpakuto like muramasa that hasn't been in UBP :P

Yea but at some point you will need to assemble an end game team, and the tavern partners just don't cut it. For f2p's or even some vip's like me who don't want to spend any more money on the game ubp is necessary to take part in to get a good team.
Why do people even bother with UBP? You can already get the best partner in the game at lvl 80 from the tavern. But rumor has it that only the very best are able to build him correctly and once you are able to do it, you will be unbeatable.

you can get S or higher rank Partners and Zanpakutos without using real money
even if you say you can get best partners from tavern, its still nice to get the zanpakutos

If you're f2p or low vip, would't it make more sense to work on you're current partners, especially now with evo where you can get aid and combo rate and stuff. Zanpakuto's, fury boosting characters and isshin are the only exceptions. Partners like shinigami urahara don't work in hollow soul and modify partner dojo, and they whoop ass in pvp. By switching partners frequently you can't really focus on the ones you should. I lose to tosen every time, and people keep writing that he's shit partner... Justin saying :lol
