Spirit infuse effects after spirit forging

So guys, I was wondering if I had a set of gears which aren't spirit forged but are spirit infused and I wanted to spirit forge them, would the spirit infuse level go back to 0?

For once I actually know nothing about the topic lol. Even back when I had spirit forged gear, I always spirit forged it as soon as I got it, so this was never an issue. But since fortify stays when you spirit forge I'm gonna assume spirit infuse does too.

no it doesn't the item keeps the infusing level that you already had but it just changes to better attributes

How long I've been here doesn't really mean anything as far as knowledge of the game goes, now does it?

I usually test out all the systems I use so at the very least I know a little bit whenever someone asks a question. I was just pointing out that this was the first time I've seen a question posted that I didn't even have the slightest bit of knowledge to answer it with.

Has nothing to do with being full of myself.

Just tested it out and it does keep its spirit infuse level. Thank you to Suzuken and Kosmodestiny :D
