in total the gold adds up to 13,200 theoretically thats $300 but i did this during the 20% rebate ...
13,200, wow that's a great deal, compared to the 20000 for him in rent/lease or the 18000 in bleach gift event. I thought he'd be more. Though this gives me an idea, though it would take a lot of time and months.
Since i'm kind of a cheapskate, i make most of my money I'm thinking topping only in reio 200 gold for 1st 5 days, so I get 1k gold free by end of 5 days. I do this in about 6 or 7 reios and I get shinso gin and zangetsu and even a partner like cute orihime all for $150 or less. Though I'm not sure if I do have the patience for this.

well if you decide to wait longer their tokens can take another dip down shinso and them all dropped quite a lot =P if oyu wait they might possibly drop another 10 or drop down to 35 lol but after quite a whilei got shinso from rental so that he comes at my level the moment you recruit them from reio they come at the level they came rented so thats a bonus + u can start modding them my shinso already has 2 stars :D
also its best to top up 1k a day during gold wheel + 20% rebate to get them faster and cheaper :) and for sure top up on 2nd dya for all the fury stones

You could always try your luck in the gold wheel event, not sure what the rebates were though

I wonder if anybody has gotten the 212 gold. As far as I've ever seen, I haven't seen anybody gotten 212 gold free. My highest was 58 gold.

I still think it's cheaper in reio if you top only 200 gold for 5 days. But not everybody has the patience for this. Though I wonder what will happen if I get shinso from rental and don't renew him, but I mod him, get his evolution and stuff. What would happen if let's say in 2 or 3 months I get the necessary gold to get him in reio, I get him, activate his book or whatever it is to activate an event partner. Would the lease partner become permanent? Or would I have to get rid of the lease partner to get shinso gin from reio.
It would be nice if the lease partner, became permanent by getting shinso gin in reo.

Afaik you will have to dismiss lease one, to activate the book. You will keep modify frags, but evo lvls will be reset

false you dont have to release the lease partner
i am your source i have just about every event partner except the big expensive ones like bankai rukia etc..
upon buying them from reio the lease gets nullified instantly to you owning them at their current lease level including the mods and evo

That's not what I have been told. A guildie couldn't use the card unless he dismissed the rented one. Maybe you're right and he didnt see smthing, dunno.

So if you got the lease partner and you get the same partner in reio, when activated the card or whatever it is, the lease is gone and the partner becomes permanent? It would suck that you have to release the lease partner to get the reio partner, especially if you already started the evolution.
If what you say is true, this is valuable information, and you get high level partners pretty easy and you can work on their evolution and frags early on. This would be very beneficial.
