not sure if they will bring back same event char after a series. but then u will still have the gold sitting on u. u can wait for your sweet time when b.rukia is out and buy her na. instead of waiting and hoping that b.rukia will come for ulti charge. who knows maybe next would be kensei in ulti charge.

I would wait for a good event on her. if your not hurting for the power, hold out. there are better events to double your gold, get her cheaper, get more hogus/stones, better equipment, ect. also, what is your level? I think i know who you are... I'm guessing your that level 78 with Mugetsu that is in my CSB, lol if so, he's ferocious, but the rest of your party are quite squishy... if not, ignore that last part

unless he's planning to top up $3000 to $4000 he probably won't get the 100% gold rebate...
