yes thats why ive only leased them
but no i think u just have the bond but not the bonus if the requiered partner isnt either in the battle or the bonus pool

is bond bugged? i have nozi kenny, completed all stars, no gear or mod partner on ulti azien and he still wont light up, help pls

Not sure about the bugg, if I understod completely you want to unlock nozarashi's ultima bond.
Gear of mods don't matter, you need to just recruit ultima aizen for bond with noza.
Requirements are that you after you passed the whole stage 7, you battle again with just main character and nozarashi in formation, and that your nozarashi doesn't deal more then 25% of the dmg done, if i'm not mistaken ofc, do all of that and then let me know did ultima light up, if not we'll try something else, or i'll ask someone to help you out.
