Formation

What should I do with my formation. I was planning to get SWP ulq(pvp) and Traven Kenny(pve). Now I'm getting Yamamoto. So both are kind of useless IMO. Should I get Kenny for PVE? Could he be better than Yama-ji?

PS. I'm f2p
