Touche.

As far as his Talent, that is a possibility that it doesn't break 90%. Different partner  ...

No I supposed it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume maybe his dodge talent does break 90%. However B renji's whole gimmick is crit, and his doesn't let him break it. And as you can see from a few of my other posts in this thread that I never said he couldn't be used effectively, of course he can. It's just that virtually every other partner that costs the same as him is also better than him overall. Also as for the thing with hit rate, you're right neither me nor bwg run with more than 200% hit rate on our partner usually. That's because it's a waste of space. However I do have the stones to knock any single partner up to around 326% (this is what I had on when I beat Aizen) hit rate, and to knock 3 of my characters up to approximately 240- 245%.

The real question we need to ask is:

If you basically have to use Kirio to protect Ryuuken, does it matter what partner goes in that assaulter slot?

You can find assaulters that do more in that position. Even free ones like CSB Byakuya. If you are looking at Ryuuken to be a VG Buster ( which is is pretty good at ) after clearing team, well... Oetsu is half his price and does it better.

So right now, No, I wouldn't buy him personally. However, he is not at all "Trash". He is actually someone we should keep an eye on. Any new partners that come out and have interactions with his gimmick could make him jump up really quickly in popularity. Sternritter F, for example, is the Fear guy. If he had a -Hit Rate aura for enemy or something, all of the sudden Ryuuken is looking pretty good.

Yeah, you can knock people up, but any partner that forces your opponent to change how he plays in order to overcome that is something to watch out for. Throw in a Kirio Invuln that you have to deal with, and a SWP Aizen, and it becomes a nightmare to figure out how to deal with all those layers.

Still. My previous post stands.

Yes I agree that with hiki and aizen then ryuken is rather protected. But as you said in your previous post does his dodge even matter at that point? I just feel like I'd so much rather have a super hard hitter in that slot who can mop up any stragglers. At least at this point in the game. As you said and as I said no he isn't trash. He's just overpriced for the current game mechanics.
