That is a completely legitimate idea. Hell, I'd even offer my time to beta test it for them to make sure that the crap is working properly. I know from my experience you may design a program to function a certain way, but you may not have anticipated all the ways that us stupid users can screw it up. I would offer my time (free of charge) to test it if it meant that we had a game that actually friggin' worked!
like I said... too stupid to think of that themselves and too ignorant to implement something like that.... would take COMMON SENSE... which is none too common these days
