They don't work on a lot of sites if you cannot register your name/address to them. Vanilla Visa, for example, does not allow you to do this.
However, Via Offgamers, you can ( at least, most people can ), top up VIA Paypal, and Paypal doesn't give a shit if its a gift card. So I would try that method.

did you use gate2shop?
try it fill in your address zip state and everything
should work since it is a "visa" card do keep in mind sometimes the site has issues processing VISA cards for some reasons and sometimes it doesnt have an issue.
under cardholder name jus put ur name and then fill out the gift card info
