Of course I know what I am talking about, don't blame me with your lack of comprehensive skills. What I said was, since you are not a nerd, you won't be staying home and have knowledge in entertainment equipment (computer/TV). Hence, my point is valid, I am just implying on the definition of nerd. Once again, I did not call myself a nerd, and point out that you aren't one, since you have a lot of social skills, which require to obtain from being outside. I am only stating proficient in language and smart is irrelevant. How do you know that person is unable to be proficient? Maybe he can, but instead he spend it on something else. It's like, If you suck at math, does that mean he is not a good mechanic? I don't think so.

But then again, in all honesty defining someone as an idiot or intelligent is way too hard for any human being, if you feel like you can do that then...well you get the idea. And also the only way to be seen as smart in this forum is be proficient in English language and Mathematical skills. If you can't do that, very likely you'll be seen as under average here.
