If a partner is invincible and they get attacked (dealing no damage or debuff, etc) do mods that have 'when being attacked' get activated or not?

Meh   I was hoping we were finally gong to get a fast assaulter, if ex skills didn't take so long to get then he would be worth getting over brenji.
