That's not what people are talking about when they say PvE though. We mean Evil Spirit and Ryoka. ...
Other than taking out Ichibe for another assaulter, I don't change up my group when doing PVP or PVE. I just said earlier when I started using Nemu over Kirinji, my damage went up alot. I was doing 6-7% up until yesterday and was doing around 10-11% today with Nemu on the ES.
For the Ryoka event it doesn't matter since the round we get to on our server has enemies too weak to kill me. We don't have many active people so we only get to round 37.

All I can say is just wait til your first server merge. You'll be wishing you focused more on making the best PvE team you possibly can. Ask anyone else on here lol

When I get better gear and stones there wont be such a difference between Nemu and Retsu. I still have mostly level 7-10 stones. When I have more time into the game and more exclusive points for Retsu and probably BRenji they will squeak in for Yamma and Mayuri. I don't have enough gear to spread around yet and I'm trying to keep all my partners at least fairly close to BP with eachother. Nemu is highest now by about 40k and is about 70k higher than lowest.

I'll be straight with you on this, do NOT try to focus too much on keeping your partners close in BP to each other. BP means nothing. And in this game, unless you have maxed out stones, hollow souls, etc etc, it is always beneficial to stack your stuff onto the right characters. The difference between my highest and lowest bp partners is 1Million BP. Or if you are counting my main then the difference between him and my highest bp partner is 1.6 million bp. Truly, I'm trying to help you here. Do. Not. Focus. On. Keeping. Your. BP. Even.

Better gear will just widen the gap between Nemu and Retsu, and not in the way you're thinking.
The better your gear, stones, treasures, etc get, the better and better Retsu becomes.
Also, bp means ABSOLUTELY nothing, I can gain 400k bp right here and now just by equipping some hit stones.
Growth rates wise, Nemu is obviously better, Nemu's skill is garbage though. Unohanas skill is literally the highest damaging skill in the game.

Maybe my Retsu is broken, lol. Before I got Senjumaru, it was Retsu in that place. Senjumaru did much more damage in the King of Souls and Bond Training when I switched. Before I took out Retsu she did either good damage to 1 target, missed or did 5 damage. Senjumaru wasn't missing like Retsu was and I never seeing the 5 damage pop up. If you didn't notice, my group has everyone that attacks all enemies now.
The thing that will help Retsu out more is when I give her more exclusive points and work on her mods. My main, Mayuri and Nemu have the most levels for exclusive. It's too bad Retsu and other gold partners are limited on the gear they can wear.

Retsu isn't used for Hollow Souls, you'll be done with Hollow Souls by the time you're at 2.5m bp or so, after that then what? All that's left is to continue hitting harder and harder in PvE, that's all that matters, Nemu will do absolutely nothing in Ryoka or ES, you have to think long term here.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to argue. I just wanted to point out Nemu wasn't terrible in the game. I just personally think this is the best event cycle I've seen considering if you don't have a top end team already. Topping up 30k can get you 4 great partners. You can get Nemu then do the Lucky Turntable and get 3 of the following: Oetsu, Ichibe, Hikifune, Isane, Hisagi and Berserk Renji. I mentioned in another thread Nemu herself wasn't worth the 30k, but what you can get with the gold if you top up is worth it.
I just got past the Starrk fight last night. Mayuri was the only one that wasn't getting crushed in the solo fight. Starrk couldn't kill Mayuri and I was running out of rounds trying to kill Starrk. Starting with the fury was all it took for my team to beat the group fight. Nemu and Mayuri were the MVP's there. Nemu did the most damage there. I beat the first solo fight again in the Tosen group, but got destroyed on the group part.
My team is still in the high 90's, so it will be a while before I get to Aizen.

I agree this is a good event cycle, Ultimate Charge as well as a free 40% for your top up is great alone, so I don't disagree with you on that.
