What will happen if i modify my partners? Is this permanent or just temporary?

Can u guys open modify partners mode??? are they upgrading it and closed or the problem is just mine???

Ohhh i figured it now u need advanced gikonkan not basic gikonkan whic it writes there u can exchange 10 basic gikonkan for 1 advanced gikonkan...

To be more precise you need both, basic and advanced gikon to modify your partner. Scroll down requirements.
