If it means that he ignores your break defense, then that would make him a mostrous block tank when he gets that passive, or at-least as good as the block stones you have on him.

Takes 2 to 3 months to complete one partner. Yes it means he would be immune to break damage.
Toshiro's 6th skill is much more powerful though. 30% chance to stun anyone who attacks him, period.
