Shinigami Kensei vs Retsu Unohana Kenpachi

i will be getting one of these 2 characters but was wondering who is overall better, not who is better in pve or pvp

pve uno kenpachi
pvp shini kensei

but in you case i would like to know the team,zan and what you are curently focusing on before i chose (and witch player form you prefer pvp/pve)

trying to focus on my defense cause they are easy to kill. my team isn't the best at the moment i have kenpachi zaraki,yamamoto,kirinji and vanguard toshiro. i switch out toshiro for my dark rukia during pve as of late.i currently use hogyukai kazeshini(have hogyukai sogyo no kotowari)plan on getting murumasa or zangetsu later on.

Please note shinigami kensei's exlusive skill: attack enemy vanguard, growth rate is 400%, decrease enemy vanguards defense by 50% for 1 round, and increase own damage rate by 10% for 1 round
