Using free chance (you have 2 a day), 1k gold to get the red sled, free to start it, 1500 xmas cards upon completion (plus 1k xmas cards for the 1k gold spend, so 2.5k in total for 1k gold spend).
If not using free chances, 1k gold to get the red sled, 3k to start it, 1500 xmas cards upon completion, so 5.5k xmas cards for 4k gold.

2 x 1k on red sleds a day (using free chances), gives 5k xmas cards a day (total of 25k cards over 5 days).
remaining 25k via red, yellow or purple sleds. If red sleds, 4k gold gives 5.5k xmas cards, so 25k cards needed is about 20k more gold. So 50k points about 30k gold. I think it's actually around 28k gold. If you did yellow sled, assuming at most 20 refreshes to get a yellow sled, then you can get 25k points with about 18k gold, so 18k +10k = 28k.
But I'm not certain, since I don't have access to a test server, nor have a clear memory of the same event last year. But I think it's right.
