who is a better replacement for VG in pve; ichigo or renji? (considering that ichi can wear gold treasure and considering both have their equal mods completed for any specific level ie)

for me renji, is higher lvl then ichigo, have basic modify, and use same weapon as vanguard
Based on a lot test I've done, I did realise that using both "fury team" Rukia and Urahara is really useless...
There is a simple explanation:
Let's do with normal fury, it won't change with critical one.
So Rukia gives 30 Fury to Assaulters and Urahara gives 25 to all partners.
Now if you are using a formation 2-3 for ES or Ryokas that is what will happen.
Rukia and Urahara gives 55 Fury to Assaulters, but they still will need 1 attack to fill it up, so technically you will spend fury.
Now if you only use Rukia, with the correct speed you will need still your assaulters do one attack and you can use anohter damage dealer support which will give your more final DMG.
My Event Formation is Rukia (fury partner) - Ikitake (dmg dealer) - Main - Ken (before lvl 90 Renji) - Ikakku.
Yes, using 2 fury partner will only help Ikkaku, which has 25 fury Recovery, as long as they both (fury partners) do critical dmg. But since that not will always happen your dmg will be unstable, I'd rather to fix that by using Ukitake with higher stones than Rukia.
At this moment I am doing 5.5M dmg, still need to increase some stones to do it higher.

No
didnt u know urahara and rukia with ikkaku is really helpful? How? They can help ikkaku almost use skill every round
Let's say 1st round: They attack as usual
2nd round urahara gives fury 25 or 37(crit) then ikkaku use skill to attack and get 25 or 37(crit) ikkaku fury is now 37 then rukia use skill that gives 30 or 45(crit) that rise ikaku fury to 67 or 85
3rd round urahara give fury again that is 25 or 37 that rise ikkaku fury to 100 or 108 fury
Now does that make sense?
What mattrat said is absolutely correct, but there is one thing more.
In a simplestic way of thinking its 190% vs 100% growth, so you think your formation will deal more damage with Ukitake, but...
More fury means more damage. While it might seem low difference on lower levels, on high it has a great impact.
I will give an example of my setup.
I use Kisuke-Rukia-Main-Kenpachi-Ikkaku. Kisuke is t1, who makes rukia t1, who makes whole team t1.
Now,on first round(without fury crits) my Kisuke deals about 400k dmg, Rukia around 200k and Kenpachi 2.5m dmg.
If we jump on 3rd round (also with 0 fury crits) my kenpachi should have 160 fury, and he deals 3.1m dmg, thats 600k more dmg cause of the fury, only on Kenpachi. My Ikkaku and main are fairly weaker so they get about 300k dmg each. A total of 1.1m extra damage cause of the fury, in 2 skill rounds that sums up to 2.4m damage
If I swap Kisuke with Ukitake, Ukitake will surelly deal more damage, about to 800k. That makes it 1.6m more, but the extra damage from fury will half, so 1.6m+1.2m=2.8m
So what am I talking about? Ukitake seems better, right?Wrong. The calculation is based on 0 fury crits. The fury crits benefits more the first setup. If the 2.4m dmg jumps to 3m cause of it, it makes both setups almost even.
Now, you got 2 setups with about same damage, while first one has a chance to trigger more damage if Ikkaku uses his skill every turn.
The only reason I wrote this, is to show you that extra fury isn't useless, and you shouldn't take only growth rates in consideration. I.e i would rather deal 25,5m with a chance to make it 29m with ikkaku rather than having 26m stable
yes what moongoate said is absolutely correct as well
