I'm tempted to top up 20k, does the bankai power thing reset so I can get more gold each day?
To get the most efficient use of your top ups with bankai power event specifically, do 4k gold top up a day. It does reset.

split it up between all of the days, you will probably get to claim the free gold every day you top up as little as $5, plus from reio, you will get more fury stones.... if you save all vit for the day, and spend a few coupons, you can claim the small vit prize every day to get the rewards... $5/day can get these rewards for both events with a little work and luck

Yep, the zanpakuto side resets every day so you can get the rewards again and again every new day. But the points in the shop stacks.

You'll also be getting rewards from raptures of kon event for the top up only aspect.
