How do I get my main character to be the color purple ? And how can I change to the next Zanpaktou ?

The color of your main depends on your "Soul Map"
If you open it and look at the "Soul Training" tab you can see your progress.

Zanpakutos will be obtainable through quest when reaching higher levels. Here's a list:

How do I get souls without firing people?
I know I've been getting souls, but I don't know how.
