I beat him this week, so stuff is still kinda fresh. I'll share what I remember.
Two main things. He hits your whole team hard, and his goons hit your vanguard VERY hard.
Basically, you need 2 things: your vanguard has to survive at least until you can kill all the mooks, and your team has to be at least alive (even if very low HP) to kill starrk himself (he is VG, and has very high HP).
Some things which help:
- You need a very strong vanguard to even have a chance. No shortcuts here, just have to get his HP/defenses up.
- Komamura is better than Starrk in this fight, due to the fact that all the enemies have high block rates - usually your Starrk will suicide when attacking, as he will have a low break def % and will trigger 3-5 high damage blocks. Hollow Ichigo is better than both of them (and can deal with the fight at lower stone levels overall).
- Unohana is essential to keep your VG healed after he takes the initial barrage of hits from Starrk's mooks.
- Stun partners (yoru/haribel/gin/aizen) help immensely, as stunning the mooks will make your vanguard last much longer.
- Your main and supports also need to survive Starrk's high-damage skill attack. If they do not survive the initial attack, you have no chance of winning. If they survive at least one attack, its hard, but possible (you need a very strong main/VG).
After that, it comes down to stun luck (i.e. reset the fight until you're lucky and all/most of the mooks get stunned). A vanguard-oriented zanpakutou works best here (I used Tengen to win).
I used starrk/main/unohana/yoruichi/gin when I finally beat him, at lv109. I'm 100% sure it would be much easier if I used lv110's hollowed Ichigo instead of Starrk (due to the aforementioned recoil damage Starrk takes). I would guess (just a guess, ok?) you can do this fight at ~700-800k BP if you have hollowed ichigo.
My stones/soul distribution is fairly spread out. My main is still stronger than everyone else, but not by a giant margin.

im sure i can with some time, and what about being Vip4??, after the merges i pushed 1 Vip9 to top to Vip10 to beat me also 1 Vip8, and a lot of Vip6+ have a hard time beating me, and well the fact that im Vip4 isnt the best, but only means that gonna take more time, not that is impossible ;P
