cant recruit purple character at level 50

hey guys, i'm in server 91, and i've just reached level 50. If i'm correct i should be able to recruit a purple character , but they dont give me the option to recruit them.

Also , i need to spirit forge, but it says i need to be above level 50.But it is a level 50 task.

To sprit forge you must have lvl 50 equipment which is the shadow kill as for the recruiting make sure you have enough purple reiatsu to recruit him/her
