there's a greeting card reward you can get from 1 of the other christmas events which can change the discount price. by how much i dont know yet, but it does change it.

every discount is 3%, take 1 card then 2 then 3 then 4 then 5 then 6 then 7i would assume so that 21% off, LOL so it might get him down to 5k gold, lol
you only can push him to 50% of his normal price. so still 40k gold
