Can I dump B.Renji?

Hey there, my team is actually S.Kukaku, Koga, B. Renji and Raijin Yoruichi. I'm lvl106 and my Zanpakuto is Tensa 28-20-20. Current BP is 2.4M.

I'm already capped in ES damage, dealing 14-15% to my ES, and 24-25% to the 2 others. I dont know until where I can OS ryokas yet, since we're only 2-3 who can on my server.

Since I'm a lazy bitch, I dont bother swapping my vanguard out for PvE, and anyway it'd be pretty hard to manage both a 1-3-1 and a 2-3-0 at the same time. But I was actually wondering about something : My B.Renji is my weakest character, actually only there to give crit damage to Koga and Raijin. He doesnt have his death mod yet.

So I'd like to know your ideas as to who I could swap B. Renji for? I'd prefer being 1-3-1, as my main is Kido, but I wouldnt really mind swapping to a 1-2-2.

B.Renji is far better than Koga and Raijin in terms of PvE. He is also quite good in PvP, especially with his death mod. Im also lazy about swapping my VG :)

I would probably keep B.Renji all the time

................Yeah. #2 has potential, but I'm still about 3 times stronger than him.

Thing is, my team is about dodge/control. I can even dodge Ryoka's skills. I got B.Renji last to fill the hole and ES, but I'm dealing too much damage, the event lasts 13min, and its all me. Might as well perfect my team's goal with some control I currently miss, like fury reduct for example. I'd still do enough damage in PvE to max xp/silver gain.

Hikifune is a great choice both PVP/PVE wise, giving you both invincibility and 50% Attack boost respectively. Yes she may be old, but her uses are still huge and relevant. Isane Kotetsu also gives 50% attack to the allied team, whilst doing this every round unlike Hikifune. She is a much more raw defensive route than Hikifune, so it's up to you on which partner is more relevant to your team ^^
Both of these partners will make you go 1-2-2

For a 1-3-1 formation, disregarding financial aspects, Bankai Yamamoto is a great option, as he can fend for himself and doesn't need as much work as B.Renji does for him to be useful for you. He's great in both PVE and PVP due to his raw damage output. Alot of other assaulters simply aren't better or require alot of work to be put into them in order for them to work, e.g. Yhwach.
Muken Aizen is of course open for you to obtain through Inferno Stones, who can also fend for himself and will be a great asset to your team.

Final recommendation is Haschwalth, who is purely a defensive character for your team, so he is only recommended if you have PVP competition and need this extra defence for your whole team with his healing, shields and defence boosts ^^ :)

Well Muken Aizen is pretty much the reason why I'd actually prefer to stay 1-3-1. I'm still reaaaaally far to get him (only 2k right now) but I'll prob get him once I can. My whole team was pretty expensive, so let's forget B. Yama as of now. Renting Yhwach could definitely be an option tho, giving exactly what I want : good damage, reduce opponent's fury and damage.

Hasch would be cool, but I dont feel like I need him, as my main threats are RJ users, and shield wont save me from da burn. I considered Isane but Idk... Is she really worth? Her mods seem a bit weird, with all those ''when attacked'' as a support. I'm pretty tired of Hiki, I used to play her as my main force on indo servers, I want new stuff.

Right, well if you can be patient with it, you could keep with your formation the exact same until Muken Aizen enters your formation, meaning you don't have to spend until then on a temporary partner ^^

Though Yhwach would be a good choice, he still requires alot of heavy work for him to be useful in either PVE or PVP, so it's best to stay away from him unless you are going to focus him quite heavily ^^

Hasch actually does well against Ryujin Jakka, the healing every round is what makes him great for such battles, though that would be it to be completely honest, but this is lacking in most partners so Hasch is quite unique here

Isane also does exceptionally well against Ryujin Jakka users, reducing the enemy defences with her mod, i(n)sane healing to counter any burns damage over time effects you may face, and ofc the attack boost she provides ^^
All those "When being attacked..." mods can be activated from the enemy zanpakuto damaging Isane, so this can be very useful for when opponents are faster than you ^^ All her mods add to her being an extremely defensive partner, alongside the mass healing she provides, she can be a great asset for your team :victory: so in terms of such fights, yes, she is worth!

Fair enough on Hiki, she's everywhere and made for every formation lol. But yes all options other than Hikifune seem open for you, all you have to do is decide which one you can work with, and see which is more important. Isane is possibly one of the best picks here if you face such difficult opponents ^^ :)

Oooh I didnt know zanpakutos damage triggered the ''when attacked'' mods. Interesting...

I really want to stay around my control base tho, and I wouldnt mind focusing on Yhwach. I could rent him, get his mods up alongside some evos before getting him perm. Main reason why I hesitate so much about Hasch or Isane, is that I'm already heavily ''defensive'' with Koga and Raijin's dodge capacities, add to that S.Kukaku giving everybody good kido def. And I dont have a lot of wisdom stones, they're all on Raijin and Kukaku. And I love having wisdom stones on Kukaku. Main doesnt have her stones anymore.

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh. I think that settles it. I'm more tempted by Yhwach, he has damage I want and control I need. It's gonna be a lot easier to rent him too, and I wont struggle to give him stones. Plus one bonus point for the manly beard.
