um i think you have to be lvl 70 to get him, and when you get him he should(not sure) be lvl 70 when he comes out the upgrade tho have no idea

well renji came out at 50, grimm at 60, so he might have come out at 70

from the war thing yeah, i got renji he came out as lvl 50, my friend got grim he come out as lvl ...

Think it was 70.
disarm is better than stun. for stun u need chance, affected by lvl difference. but enemy asssaultersd will get disarm even if u miss hit. is a buff like decrease regeneration, or increase atack - from ur normal skills.

This situation is funny since knowing grim is an s partner but can't even wear gold hogus, and the free ichigo can :D
Anyway prefer to wait and take zaraki then see what others can do to the team, problem is the mod for these partners taking too long, btw do they have a deadline also to mod them...
