Any attack, including Zanpakuto, will break the ice effect.

There isn't anything different about the freeze from skill and the freeze from mod except that they supposedly have different growth rates (the damage % they increase an attack by).

So to sum it all up: normal hit, skill, zanpakuto, shield, block can neglect the freeze and probably mutilate and burn? That's alot of counters.

Ice was not meant to hold a partner easily. In exchange, there are also no direct immunity mods for it (yet away). Shield is the only thing that can protect you from being frozen.

But what's the point in freezing an enemy if he can still attack?

Doesn't that make the freeze kinda pointless to have?

Isn't that just a waste? Or do you think so otherwise?

Freeze is still very useful. It can cause your enemy's partner to lose their turn if timed right. You just have to use it right.

they may have changed it or fixed it from back then

Freeze for damage? As in ''it deals damage to the one who's frozen? Or am I misunderstanding it?
