Once again, nice guide, will definitely take advantage of this when I can!
isnt it better to do full lvl 80 armor? or in my case since low lvl all golden lvl 50? instead of mixing ? if no then why cuz i am confused >.<

I don't know how much i like this idea, because Physical defense is really important, as i found out recently.
Keeping your vanguard equipped with maximally upgraded defensive gear of the highest level, will probably yield greater results than mixing lower level sets for the immunity...
I used to neglect defense on my vanguard and keep the items at lv50-60 fortification, until i saw a player with exactly the same gear, but he had maxed out defensive gear on his vanguard.
The difference was a few thousand defense, in the ten thousand mark, but the difference was huge, his assaulters were ripping my vanguard appart, while mine were dealing twice less damage to his, all because of a few thousand points of defense.
I am not sure how well is immunity going to work out compared to that, but you might not want to go for immunity, if you have to sacrifice too much physical/strategy defense.
i dont understand this at all

There's four ways to lower damage on u're vanguard.
Dodging = taking no damage at all.Blocking = reduce half damage taken.
Physical and kido defence (upgrade strenght and wisdom item for example). That reduce amount of damage taken.
Immune rate (Zanpakuto/armor set). That reduce damage too.
So u can choice to focus on one type of defense or mixing them.
For exemple with spirit forge armor set bonus at lvl 70 and further are :
-2 pieces / bonus immun damage.
-4 pieces /bonus strenght and wisdom (upgrade physical and kido resilience too)
-6 pieces bonus damage rate.
If u equip :
- 2lv 70spirit forge item + 2 lvl 80 spirit forge item + 2 lv 90 spirit forge item. U will gain something like (3+4+5 =12% immun damage) on u 're vanguard. And if u equip a zanpakuto with 12% more. U will have 24% immun damage. So if u take normaly 10 000 damage point. That will reduce them to 7 600 damage point.
But if u focus immu bonus u will not be able to have a single 4 bonus set armor. And u barely loose something like 500-1000 strenght and wisdom bonus and those one upgrade u're resilience for kido and physical damage.
So u need to know (by testing it most of the time) if u take more damage with 21% damage reduction +bonus strength and wisdom with a 4 set armor bonus. Or if u take less damage than a single 24% immu damage rate.
If u take only 9 000 damage normally because of a high resilience with armor set. U will take only 7 110 damage after immun reduction. better than a single 24% immu rate with a base of 10 000 damage.
But in same time if u lose too much immun rate for exemple for a little gain of base resilience (ex:15% immun rate and 8500 base damage after reduction), u will take more damage.
(10 000 - 1 500 resilience) - 15% immun rate = 7 220.
It's seem to not be a big deal but that can make a big difference in a full fight.
ok im kinda confuse what are we talkin about 4 + 2 2+2+ sorry trying to understand
My vanguard have 22% Immune Rate with Kazeshini and i normaly take 27k damage.
When i switch for Kokujo Tengen Myo my Immune rate jumps to 40% and the damage i take is 26k,but from the math's point of view i shoud take 18.4k damage.
In both cases there aren't criticals, and i think that Immune Rate doesn't really cover 40% of the damage my vanguard takes.

what vanguard is this? because kazeshini doesn't give any immune rate
if you're looking at the damage -40% and -20%, that's the damage your vanguard does
avoid is the immune from damage for zanpakuto
