tried to do that for a while now but he prefer to stay there

Take off dodge, put more block, put more stamina and finally put on wisdom to increase your strategy def.

Also spirit stones isn't the only think you can upgrade/change to make your char stronger.

Dont worry too much about speed in him. He is not made to be fast. Even if you throw all 12 agi stones in him and all he will get is 700k~ish speed max lol! Make him tanky and more wisdom, you need them in void.
