how to upgrade partner's collors?

I saw a guy in Komamura in red name... how we do that? and can we do it with every partners? I have shin grimjow can I upgrade im to gold or higher?

You can upgrade tavern partners with red reishi and yes you can upgrade your Shin Grimmjow to Pantera Grimmjow, but you need to be vip1 and have 150 Grimmjow coupons and 500 golden reishi (every special war power partner have 2 forms). Just open your eyes, everything is written there..

I know i can upgrade to pantera grimjow but i dont have vip, i was just wondering if i can make him golden partner so i could put good treasures

Nope, special war partners can be upgraded only in special war with the requirements listed there.
