Senju gets the bond when Hiki is in formation as well.
Might just be me but I don't think Senju blows up a whole lot of people without Katen. I would probably just replace Hisagi if I were him. Hisagi out is the best option for you,and the easiest option Aresiel replied at 2017-10-13 14:04 static/image/common/back.gif

As long as the bond is unlocked, the bond should work if both partners are in battle
