Yup as simple as that, who is better in the late game. I am planning to start on a new server so prob with team compositions.

tough one, however, if you are buying Shinso, why not get retsu for free from KTF?

Shinso's mods and his skill makes him much more of a support partner for sure (fury building guy that boosts support's speed, very nice) mixed with his AOE attack is another big point for him...

however Retsu is MUCH better in PVE (the bread and butter for anyone looking at these partners these days IMO) she boosts break defense for supports, which with block so easy to get high can be a HUGE deal, and her insane kido attack can very easily clear out a stacked vanguard in a single hit...

personally I vote Retsu because she is easily obtainable for F2P, gives better rewards in PVE, and still has some PVP ability...

That said, I own both and only use Shinso, even though I'm looking to replace him with UBP soon

It is a tough choice, since both of them have their usage just like Mylar said. But Shinso will always be my first choice, since he always give you fury, it's easier to T1 your team starting up with shinso, basically an upgrade version on urahara able to keep up the fury input to your team. You can switch to his exclusive skills to control your enemy for PvP.

Mylar another advice, I'm planning to top up 6800 gold on a new server. So j will have 14k to work with, so how should I spend it XD

IMO probably 1 to 2k of it should go to little things like protection stones and the like.
Grab shini welfare at least once to pick up Tenjiro...  I dislike him, but for the price on him he's probably the best buy in the game
Shin Isshin from KTF is really a must... but don't spend gold on him if possible, he's very gettable for free

do not just buy one of the strongest peeps you can afford as UBP can treat you much better and not take your gold

also, keep an eye on the forums here for upcoming events, make sure you top up during a good event cycle...  things like Ultimate Charge can raise the gold you get, or netting you a free hogu or equipment set or two..  make sure you get some gravy from the top up itself!!

I've got several low VIPs with UBP tier partners in the top 20 in my CSB... hell, my party isn't fantastic and I'm ranked like 7 if everyone was going full tilt (TSI, Muken, Shinso, Tenjrio, saving for UBP)

as for a Zanpacto, honestly if I was starting over as low VIP/F2P, for pvp I'd run a tanky DOT team with Ashisoji Jizo and Braggen Louis (poison and burn can happen at the same time) then again, I'm a defensive player in general IMO

the rest of the gold, I suggest saving it for holiday events...  it is really hard to guess future events and suggest to anyone how to spend their hard earned money, know what I mean?

Hello,I have 2 question about ryujinjakka.Is there an event that sell ryujinjakka for a lower price than discount frenzy? And 2nd:Worth to buy it even if I won't top-up anymore?Or just buy a partner,stack him and play with a normal zanpakuto? In this moment I have only tavern partners and kazeshini.Thx!

Unohana all day for me,i am renting her to own permanently,only thing about her i dont like is quality (she is gold),she hits hard,good mods,nice skill bufs,great exclusive skill! even better option is both of them on team,just at his stage in game,there are too many op characters for free (Muken,Hiki,Nemu,Mugetsu,Brenji.........)

If you plan to start again then go in french servers.For 50$ you can have koga/b rukia/shinso permanent. Wondering if they won't add ryujin for 100$.Where is justice in this world??

sadly for them... Shinso is dirt cheap here, B Rukia was passed by MANY that had vit for her in UBP not long ago, and Koga has almost been relinquished to a niche partner at best...

the french servers are for sure the blight of our EU servers, but the partners they give out so cheap are just not that good anymore, lol

and RJ for $100... I picked him up in US servers around Christmas for $150... if you work it right, you can get good deals here too

old or not,with a top=up of 50$ they get koga,this is a reward for top-up without spending 1 gold on him.I deal with this situation,for a relative new server to have koga for free is a big deal.But meh,i won't top-up anymore,this is not fair at all.

like I said, the blight of our EU servers... killing the game... would be different if everyone got good rewards like that, but only to have some of the players in your CSB or even your server to get them is just bullshit...

Not to mention (as a former Uno ken user) that although Unohana Kenpachi's damage rate is great, her attack potential has always been a bit trash. She doesn't even have her own Wisdom talent. Only Agility. Nowadays, nobody would buy a supporter partner without at least that.

yeah i forgot that,but she has nice combo bonus....overall she is good for ryoka and ES

Yup. Especially with Senjumaru. As long as your opponent has low defense, she should be good.
