So basically thread, which Zanpakutou are worth upgrading in general?

Bump, still waiting for some help, i currently own only Ruri Kujaku, Tobiume , Wabisuke and the fat guy ._.

I upgraded wabisuke to bankai... he helps me a lot with his skill, I think he's better

Of those, I would go with Tobiume. She can be used till you get Kazeshini(lvl 65)

I find her less useful than Wabisuke or the fat guy tho, don't know why everyone is so hyped about her.

Tobiume gives stats to your assaulters making her better than wabisuke and the fat guy

Umm, not really when your damage doesn't matter much if their vanguard keeps blocking every second hit or their speed is higher than yours.

And PvE wise, in easy content it doesn't make any difference and in harder content, i would still prefer the upper both.

You said that damage does not matter that much if their vanguard keeps blocking. First of all Break Defence is the way to go if you have problems with being blocked. Second. From what I've seen Gegetsuburi "Fat Guy" only gives the vanguard 10% less damage reduced compared to others and increases your vanguards hp with 35% Revival rate by 25% and avoid injury rate by 6% as of Shikai if I remember correctly as well as giving your team a 110% bonus from reiatsu stats (Original) . (Bankai) Tobiume on the other hand gives 40% damage reduction on vanguard, 45% hp increase, 35% revival rate and 9%avoid injury rate. However she do give 9% speed and 9% Damage rate on assaulters. Also 114% bonus from reiatsu stats. So vanguard wise Gegetsuburi is the way to go. However in PvE and PvP wise tobiume is the way to go, because of the increased damage (PvE) and speed (PvP). I believe survival rate might be increased healing on the vanguard. So if you have no healer I still would go for Tobiume until you can get Kazeshini or Zabimaru once available. Feel free to come with feedback on my opinions.

um if your worried about them being faster thats why you use tobiume, it gives your assaulters more speed and attack, the only difference between wabisuke and tobiume is that wabisuke gives your vanguard 3% more immune rate while tobiume gives your assaulters 9% speed and 9% damage rate which is way better, so the effects you get for your vanguard are exactly the same since most people don't use the main characters stun skill and momo stuns your assaulters not vanguard and tobiume than also boosts your assaulters to deal more damage as well as their speed. and Gegetsuburi only gives -30% damage compared to wabisuke's -40%, the main difference for those two is the skill they use so that is just personal preference for which zanpakuto skill works better for you.

Tobiume is definitely the best among these four.
It is a all rounded zanpakuto, which is useful either in pve or in pvp. It provides some defensive bonus to tank, as well as increase assaulter's attack and speed.
Better damage = more exp and silver in pve daily events, you will lv faster and have more silver for reinforce or lv your reiatsu.

Wabisuke is decent, which he reduced enemy vanguard block rate. However, this only result in pvp. As most of the pve vanguard block rate is quite low before lv70.

Lastly, Gegetsuburi aka fat guy, he is totally useless.
Although he have a lesser penalty on vanguard attack, but vanguard's dmg normally is lower than assaulter. Besides, since you think tobiume 12% damage bonus doesn't matter much. Fat guy 8% damage bonus is even worse, right?
