This event is not good for trying to get something with points. You have to choose 1 thing from the 3 columns of items. You can refresh the listed items(costs gold for refresh). Once you have 3 things selected, you can refresh the discount(starts at 9, meaning you pay 90% of the base prices). If you refresh the discount(also costs gold) and it will go down a random amount, eventually it can get down to 50%.

Once you purchase those items, you will have to claim the option for 1500 or 500. Each time you click one, you will get a chance to open the bags on the second tab(you will need to close the event for it to update). The big bags that cost 1500, have a very small chance to give 20 points for the shop and the small bags have a very small chance to give 5 points. You will always get an item from the bags, but you will very rarely get any points for the shop.
