Well then, can you explain why in the world Laceration from Yama does not block his healing?

i think laceration just does damage as if some one is burned, not blocks the healing of someone

br or didn't happen.
There are two debuffs, one reduces the heal and the other blocks completely (laceration).
And I doubt the shield removes the laceration, this is not a control.

according to the wiki shield does protect  from laceration, can't say if it is accurate as I've never tested it but well since it is theunknown who revised this article I guess that's how it is
author: ragfer    time: 2019-3-23 11:57:29

Well, can't give br just now cause CSB is retarded and does not give me a chance to show this battle that it happened. I will wait till tomorrow. If the same dude pops up, i will give br to you.

Is this signs that next UBP is Yhwach?
author: [email protected]    time: 2019-3-23 15:14:22

Nope Yhwach will either be mid or end of year. But I still vote for KOGA.

Yes, because of Yhwach's shield, laceration has no effect on him. Laceration and fury restriction are the two iffy "control" effects  that are counted in the group. It is a form of control, I guess?
author: pablosays    time: 2019-3-24 04:12:18

Old man Yama's skill puts lacrinate on all opposition partners and blocks fury increase of random 2 partners.

Someone tell me how can i get replay of lost CSB battle? COPY BATTLE REPORT button is not working.

PS. just fought that dude again. No, shield did not remove his Laceration and later on he had no shield + laceration debuff and still was healing like crazy.

the description of the shield says (The shield protects your character from damage and control effect debuffs. Control effect debuffs include Stun, Silence, Chaos, Disarm, Void, Fossilize, Freeze, Fury restriction, and Laceration).
maybe it's just a visual BUG that appears but has no effect.
author: rugalb666    time: 2019-3-24 13:49:13

"The control debuff icons may remain when the shield is not activated on your turn, but this is only a visual limitation. It will have no effect on the partner's next turn and will be visually cleared when it is their turn."

Apparently the healing mod bypasses the Laceration (and the reduced heal debuff, from main's 5th skill), the shield has no link with the Laceration since again it's not a control.
A BR against a guinea pig Muken, he has a similar healing mod to Yhwach :
http://logineu.gogames.me/fightr ... ;t=1&lang=en_Eu

So unfortunately the mods which have a fixed heal always bypass the laceration and the debuff, the debuffs only affect the heal from the skill , revive/vampiric enchant, zanpakuto fortification (Nozarashi vith Hyorinmaru)... and the deathmod heal like Unohana ? Similar to how the Recovery Rate stat increases only the heal from skill.

You are half correct. Laceration is indeed considered a control effect, but as you pointed out, the healing mods are not being affected by laceration, which should have been fixed when Shin Daiguren Toshiro came out. Then again, shield has gone back to being bugged as it was in the beginning, so it would be no surprise if this suddenly did not work appropriately, too.

The most accurate way to determine if something is a control effect in arena is if the shield is already up, the shield doesn't break after the attack, and the debuff icon does not appear from the attack when it normally would.

Here are two videos to illustrate:
https://youtu.be/1rMFJDolV7U (Note control effects such as chaos do not appear through shield if the shield does not break)
https://youtu.be/AIQK-hI3tek (Note how laceration does not pass through shield when Haschwalth finally gets it up ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Also, take note Haschwalth's healing mods don't activate when an enemy attacks on combo. That does not mean laceration is working against his mods.)

Not sure what is supposed to be normal
One thing I know for having experimented it a number  of times  on the wrong end of the stick is  that Shin Daiguren laceration indeed blocks Muken healing mod
