10k vit gave me 36480 crystals during Oetsu UBP so do math. Go for it, you dont have anything to lose.
Get shini agent and do those bgames before it starts, so you know what to expect.

im currently on 17k close to 18k and even I have the feeling i might not even make it.. i think youd need around 20-21k total to get him if he's 80k crystals

with 24k vit you will be most probably sure to get him, so try to save around 3k vit on the 9th or 10th day and then go for him

I don't think you can. if you had about 17k, 19k vit with games and time to end of event.
