Hey guys, I've been thinking on getting a new supporter, and thought about getting Shunsui as a support. I was wonder what you guys think?

I saw a fight with him and he attacked the assaulters and vanguard plus taking of some fury, not much though.

If you have no idea how to use char it doesn't mean he is useless. Shinsui can deal lot of kido dmg + small amount fury dedutcion means -1 turn befor enemy skill. There is ton of ways how to use Shinsui but if you r too stupid ofcouse he would be uselles for you.

...... You can recruit shunsui in lvl 80 tavern there are 3 supports in lvl 80 tavern, Urahara, Shunsui, Ukitake....so in the lvl 80 tavern theres no doubt that urahara is best support because of his fury boosting.... and pretty much all the people recruit Urahara and Ikkaku from lvl 80 tavern and some recruit Byakuya for PVP purposes.....so compared to them Shunsui is nothing.....now for the skill, Shunsui attacks enemy vanguard and assaulters and deducts their fury by 5....now around that lvl almost EVERYONE uses yoruichi or hallible....yoruichi will deduct fury and stun your supports and if shunsui doesnt have agility talents then he's probably more than useless.....Shunsui only deducts 5 fury but Yoruichi and hallibel deducts 50 fury plus they have a high chance of stunning....and you probably wont let go yoruichi till lvl 110 when you can recruit aizen.....and yoruichi is the most valuable partner in Hollow Soul map....and even if your shunsui attacks first and deducts fury by 5 enemy main will still use his skill cause i swear everyone for some weird reason uses one or two fury stones on main xD....and if a fury booster like rukia or urahara is faster on your opp's team then shunsuis attack is again a complete waste.... and if you want to recruit shunsui that must mean that your lvl 80 and you will most probably recruit unohana at lvl 90 ....so if you think that shunsui is better than Urahara, Yoruichi, Hallibel , Unohana then i have nothing more to say to you mate hope you understand

So the reason is every single tavern starting from lvl 50 has MUCH better supports than shunsui but if you want to waste your reishis on him then its completely your choice......

Kyoraku is not useless . He is an offensive support with high damage , comparing him to the other supports, that excels vs full offensive teams . The pattern is the same as hallibel's use (full speed) and kinda same effects excepts he can't stun . If the enemy does not use rukia or kisuke , or use fury stones he can delay the assaulter/vanguard skill for 1 turn . Hallibel is better on that matter of controling , since the enemy must have a good fury regenarating combo , something that most people dont use on their pvp teams , plus she can stun . On the other hand kyoraku is faster and deals a LOT for a support , most of the times this extra damage can help u get a big lead at turn 2 (killing 1 of the enemies assaulters if u are kido main). So lets sum it up , kyoraku->a LOT damage, faster than anyone in his level , can give u a quick lead , medium chance of delaying enemy's damage and the other rival of his position , hallibel, is better at controlling only . Lastly, it depends on your play style , hallibel is the safer option but kyoraku can work prety well taking into account the current strategy trends . I hope it was helpfull , and remember that it all depends on having a faster support in the end

Bro dont forget about yoruichi....and supports arent meant to deal damage....they are meant to control the game....

If you want another then as far as i know the enemies of hollow soul maps are immune to fury deduction but can be stunned.....so yes shunsui is useless in there also.....

For more damage to events. More Damage= more silver= more fortify. More silver= more reshi you can get

Just an advice for PVE events Rukia plus Urahara and three assaulters will do WAY more damage than any other formation.....

Wait. If Rukia and urahara are support... you can't have three assaulters.... Now if you could have 3 assaulters and 2 support and a van that would be awesome, but sadly you cannot.

to maximize your damage in PVE like ES an Ryoka a vanguard is not recommended.....its better to use a 2 supports and 3 assaulters formation where assaulters are your main damage dealer and supports are your sub damage dealer.....and urahara and rukia is best for these events cause they boost your fury so assaulters will skill more often......

the best ryoka team u could have at this point is SWP Grimmjow , Ikkaku, Main(9th skill) , Rukia , Kisuke . I dont reccomend kyoraku for pve , but he could be usefull in some pvp strategies

This thread reminds me of how mad I am that Shunsui is so bad in this...

He is easily one of the strongest characters in Bleach. I'd say definitely top 10, maybe even top 5, with people that aren't dead.

Of course I'm going to get him anyway though. I have Ukitake, and I feel like if you have one you must have the other.

I know the feel bruh but i wouldve been much more happier if Shunsui was an assaulter....i really want to get him but gold reishi isnt easy to get so....DAMN he's one of my fav characters....

Yeah, I have the perfect idea for his skill also. It could be like Shini Yoruichi, where he does Kageoni on 2 random people., maybe not invincibility but something like that. I feel like it makes more sense for him to do something like that then Yoruichi.
