First, crystals serve you for only one ubp, so after the event ends, you won't have them anymore, as if they never existed.

Second, go ahead and claim the gifts without worries, no crystals will be subtracted from your current tally.

The crystals do not roll over to the next event. Gift packs do not subtract from your crystals, they are activated rewards.
