I have been fighting against espada #1 for weeks now and cant get past the first team battle. I know certain partner skill effects dont work in there, so i dont depend on them, but i cant even take out a single member of their team at all.

Does anyone have any advice on how to beat him?

grab unohana, use kokujo tengen if you dont have hyorin/senbon and stack your vg and make him kill them all while unohana keeps him alive.

get mugetsu and demon ichigo and hichigo and use senbon and see it will go excellent XD joking lol well now let's get serious i needed like 750k to beat first team espada 1 , in 1vs1 use shini yoru if you have her from UBP and in team use 1-1-3 ( worked for me )
van: stark ( if you're using kokujo or hyorinmaru thus hyorin is cheap and one of best zans )
main ( 10th skill maxed )
youruichi ( full modded even though final mod dun help lol )
gin ( 4th or 3rd mod )
unohana ( full modded )

it worked for me making unohana with some HP BUT WITH A LOT of critical-wisdom stones so when she died recovery rate saved me , youruichi was fastest then gin then uno then main then stark , gather strongest HP stones and block and counter on stark so he survive and dun change anything on main , so basically you will damage and disable nearly all lines except van gin will most likely stun all assaulters with good accessories and do same for yoruichi cz accessories give higher control chance then goes unohana and recover them from damage and when she dies she recover all team HP 150% which is pretty good and main damage all lines by 188% (2 times or 3 for me ) , 120% for stark ( and put on him some critical stones to recover more HP) and i killed him like that with unohana dead and all team more than 80% HP

I have vg rangiku, sexy yorui, shin yorui, cute orihime.

I get past the single but cant beat team.

you're kidding me right ._. can you top up for hyorin for me

anyway may you provide infos including :
lvl, BP , sets , even pics are better it will help to determine the plan to beat him with your current formation and may i know what zan you using?

level 96, BP 817730 w/sogyo no, 2 lvl 80 ulti sets on shin and sexy, 2 piece 80 ulti/4 piece sf 80 on cute, 2 piece 80/4 piece sf 80 on vg rangiku, 5 piece sf 80/1 piece 80 ulti, mixed up accessory sets but all sf.

what about zan? and BTW in group battle replace shini yoru she's basically useless cz her special skill won't work in group so exchange her and use 1-2-2 with rangiku , main , sexy yoru , yoruichi , harribel

my zan is sogyo no lol.
dont have harribel, was thinking of get unahara to heal everyone, and vg rangiku can keep heal her lol.
