Try it with your main and bya

Take out zanpaktou and only have main and Csb Bya to achieve it.

You must only have your main and the character you want to bond for it to work.

yep as others said before me , all chars bonds work with main only and char you wanna train ( in this case Csb Bya ) ,

just in case not sure with zanpakuto never works so must be unequiped aswell!

ah, i mixed formations between in battle and bond training. thanks guy, yes it worked with just main and bya

another doubt,

why are the two tabs for isshin and starrk diff? for starrk i can upgrade till the max lvl, for isshin (and csb bya) , its just one lvl.

his first bond partner is s.rangiku. so what happens if i hire her for a day, bind her, then bind the next partner. next day when they go, i lose the stuff?

no you can put expired partner from partner rent in the bond attribute tab and still get the bonus

Can someone tell me who Mugetsu needs just for curiosity reasons? like his 4 people. also try that rent and refresh see if it stick if does that means u prob need keep in there forever even if you rep him lol.

yes i am. i have isshin aswell and my rangiku expired today.

expired partner from limited lease stay in your partner list but you can't put them in formation.

if you have the bond partners together in battle you get the bonus aswell

Are there any other specific requirements to be able to increase stats of partners? Because I am able to increase the attack of my kisuke when I bonded him with gin and I completed all his training assignments but only that. The other 2 I am not able to increase. Do I need to bond him with those other two patners to be able to increase the other bonuses? I also tried bonding my shini urahara with zabimaru renji and gamuza nel but I am not able to increase the speed attribute which is the only one I unlocked because the other two are simply impossible for me atm. The same goes for isshin. I unlocked first 2 bonuses and tried bonding him with sexy yoruichi but I am not able to increase them.

you have to bind them in the order that is shown. for eg
if you unlocked isshin's first 2 attributes, and if you want to upgrade his second attribute, you have to bind s.rangiku and b.rukia
Edit - s.yorui is the 4th partner, means if you bind her(to bind her u have to bind the 3rd ie yama too along with the first two), and then only will you be able to upgrade an activated attribute.
