Hey guys

So here's the thing..My mom forced me to tidy up a cupboard and when I was going through stuff I found this old letter. When I took it to my dad he said that twas a letter written by one of his friend's to another one of his friend's just before the war started. When I read it I was honestly moved to tears cause I knew that the guy who wrote this knew that chances of him surviving were slim

Soo I thought I'd type it out for u guys to see too

PS : No laughing or making fun of the English please cause I just typed out the original letter.

Ready for a mission

Amo and Ration

Inside my pack

It is bit heavy

But I don't feel

Because I have to

Think a lot - Don't feel anything

Only the enemy - and his fire

Come to my mind

Sounds of fire - Bombs and motars

I can imagine

The situation

What - I have to face

All my colleges - With their weapons

Are thinking - About Something

Maybe

About their home - Or loving girlfriends

.....

So dearest friend

I can still remember

The days - when we were togeather

How happy we were

I can still hear

Your squeezy voice

If I close my eyes - I can see

You are playing with me

Those days we were children

But now

We have choosen - Our own ways

Although we are - still friends

And like to be togeather

That is only a dream

I have to go now - To face the enemy

Just like a Tiger

Non of Kindness - Or the manners

So this may be - my last trip

Because

Because I'm a soldier

I'm a soldier with a weapon

Ready to go to the war.

t-this made me cry.........most of my family is in military.........and this made me think of that..........poor person though.........

My dad is in the SLAF...so many soldier's die at war

Wow that was really good! Well, good in the sense of the emotional state, but all in all great.
I wasn't moved to tears, because there are a helluva lot more people during that time that felt the same
way so I can understand the situation he was in. But the feels were there alright.

With your permission I'd like to put this in a game someday. So that many more people can understand the horror of war.

We have an upcoming game that this would fit perfectly in.
Dreadnought is dealing with a finacial contract right now about on of our games, so it may be a bit before we go anywhere.
