Got Zabimaru recently, and already got kazeshini, which one is better for both pve and pvp puposes?

Wabisuke for the time, then switch him with gegetsuburi for pvp, alternative ruri'rokujaku if you're team is based on control. Kazeshini for pve. Work's like a charm.

Gegetsuburi -30% vanguard, avoid injury and recovery rate also decent. You can build your team around ganju. Don't underestimate the second division vice capitan's zanpakuto. Bucubus gegetsuburi ;)

Nah but really, kazeshini pvp, zabimaru pve. No further explanation needed. Btw if you have similar partner dillemas or anything similar to that, check out strategy guide on the bottom of the forum home page.

You have 19 tips for begginers thread, tavern partners guide, zanpakuto guide explain's buffs and what skills to use with which zanpakuto etc. Azriel is author of every single one of them. Read that and you'll be k.

With the new zanpaktou fortify thing we have now I would stick to Kzeshini for both pvp and pve, once fortified enough kzeshini will be better than zabimaru for pve.

i never had to switch as the bonus is only big if your reiatsu is higher than other ppl ur trying to gain rank on. PVE.

well at the late start i had i would have beaten the topuppers at the time if i had done the same.. was still within top 30 gaining bp, i held back to try and get 1k pvp title. got damn near close 3 times. but anyway with fortify its best to roll with what i said still as by time you fort enough you'll be onto next zanpakuto unless you got tobiume.

I have Zangetsu, so... not really a question for me personally.

However, I recommend my F2P Guildmates to go for Zabimaru instead of Kazeshini, because doing better in PvE will at some point give the edge in PvP IMO...

Well I prefer Kazeshini's speed + damage instead of health + damage, since speed is such an important trait.

Thing is, even if you beat somebody in pvp, if he does way more in Ryoka and Evil Spirit, he's going to leave you behind at some point.

We are talking about es and ryoka, so he really isn't that counterproductive compared to Zabimaru.

4% lower reiatsu, 10% dmg on support from the active buff and 9% on support from the passive, not to mention higher growth rates (170 compared to 150) in fortification.

imo there is quite a difference.

Yeah but if you also count in pvp I think it balances it out and makes it better in both pve and pvp if you can't afford fortifying both.

I guess that kinda depends on your server... mine is kinda empty and the gaps between the players are quite huge. So a fully fortified kazeshini might give like 1-3 places, which isn't that much IMO.

You can also save coupons for a honor-shop zanpakuto or buy a relatively cheap hyorinmaru, which both aren't too bad in PvP imo, but you'd still use a Zabimaru (if fully modded) over them, while a Kazeshini would hardly provide much of a benefit.
