There's an intersting point with division rank.
It's : "Should u rank to captain 5th division or not ?".

It seem to be silly to ask it, but if u don't check wisely, this could be a major gain or lose of time in future.

First u need to know how many prestige point u're able to gain each day.

For exemple my rank in arena is third :

Daily gain = 200 x14 (arena fight) + 14 k from arena daily chest = 16800 k

And u will gain a little amount of prestige with other daily event.
So i will said 17K.

Now i'm 5 th division lieutnant. I will gain exaclty the same amount of prestige point each day....
But if i rank up and beacame 5th division capitain. I will start to lose each day some prestige point.
For 5th division captain it's 5k. And for a better rank i could lose more than 6k-7k daily.

So for the same place/result at daily event and if i win 14 fight in arena each day, my daily gain will be 12k and no more 17K. So it's will be more difficult to rank up again. (need more prestige point, and same time i will gain less prestige point).
If i'm able to gain the same amount of prestige point without upgrading my division rank (cause it give u bonus on u're base stat and immun rate for all team members). Why should i rank up ?
Better to stay 5th division lieutnant and stock my prestige point. I will use all of them in a single time and be able to rank up much more than if i use them to upgrade my rank one level at time.

After if u're able to wait a very long time.... U can try to gain enough prestige point to obtain the best rank (i think it's more than 6M prestige point for mugetsu ... 10-11 month in my case if i play evreyday and gain same amount of prestige point).

So make the calcul and check what's the best i u're own case. Waiting or not....

Nobody is going to get Mugetsu and even if they did, the daily costs surpasses any amount you could possibly get daily without spending a ton of gold daily on extra arena chances.

I personally stopped at Lt 3rd Division because 6k loss daily is nothing to me when I get 23k or so daily.

As long as you can afford it why not keep going? If you are active it should not be a problem.

Once you get to 5th Vice.. it takes almost 5 million accumulated Prestige to rank up directly to Mugetsu.. That is about 7-10 months straight of maintaining a top 2 rank, using up every battle chance and winning.. aside from any other perks/bonuses along the way that add to your prestige.. (gift packs/daily sign-in bonuses etc)..

It is a plan of action a few of us are using, but I dont think I'm going to invest that much time into this game.. so I'll likely just take the rank and perks associated with it.

That's just to get it, you'd lose it the next day unless you have the prestige to hold it...you'd need a absurd amount to hold it for more than 1 day.

on UN you don't not drop in rank if you don't have the prestige to upkeep at certain rank so i think it is most like the same on here which means once you hit Mu you don't ever have to worry about prestige anymore

Mugetsu is basically a gold spender title, you need to spend some gold daily, to maintain the prestige needed.

hmmmm... intresting. well i was saving up prestige but not for mugetsu. earning more than 20k a day on prestige still takes a long way.

but at the moment now i dont think i need tht extra boost in title. coz theres no one in server that needs me to get tht lil extra buff.

well maybe those espadas will but i ll just keep my prestige n not rank up will i realli need it. maybe i can jump 2 ranks up n start having

my prestige deducted for it at the later stage.

Yeah personaly i don't keep prestige point for mugestu title (too much time like i said it's something like one year, it's seem to be a joke^^) but i 'm waiting for merge of server and use all of them for a major upgrade.
Lack of base stats are not a big problem for the moment...too much difference between me and best bp players in my case, and i'm able to keep my place in pvp without any problem. That the question ppl should ask them self. Is that a good idea to stock prestige point for now? But only them are able to answer that question for them self.

Was not sure if we could loose our rank when we don't gain enough prestige to maintain it. But seem clearly if it's was test. So it's a good info. Thks for that.

And for LUNAPATRICK, Mugetsu is the last rank. Those one who will give u salary and will appear on top of u're character name. Something like 11th division captain or 5th division Lieutenant.

only reason I can see you would want to get it would be for a one day PVE killing spree where you go crazy and kill everyone in hallow soul and trial who you can't beat but even then it would only be effective if you jumped from something like captain commander cause soul king is only a little bit weaker and the rank one player can keep it with just their arena rank reward

You will lose the stat boosts, downgrade along with the rank.

There is another reason, title (since achievement is locked, nobody is aware of it).
Title: Oni Gō Mugetsu, +1000 to (phy att, strt att, phy def & strat def), Title will remain even you lose the rank.

However, as Shiba mentioned, need to save 5 million prestige to get Mugetsu and it is just crazy.

Hm, i read this, I'am way too far from it for now, the Mugetsu title is a legend for now, I just wanted to know since I'm in EU server; do we need also to spend money and make huge amount of prestige orelse will be downgraded?

impossible get mugetsu because need a lot prestige per day and discout all you get sure, maybe when implemente anythig you get a lot prestige, maybe world arena and buy any bot to get prestige 2-10k per day you can get mugetsu but now impossible

If we need lets say 100k prestige to rank up and the daily cost is 10k. Will we be able to rank up if we got 105k prestige or will it immediately ask for the daily cost and rank us down? (or does the deduction only come after server reset at 00:00)

but to rank up or not... it all depends if u need to or not...

pros n cons...

as for me... i dun think i need to rank up... bcoz at my current state... i am doin fine with just 5th liut.

unless i need tht extra power to do my daily stuff to win... then maybe... but yea... wit the speed i am goin...

i need 7 months to get mugetsu... hics... so till i realli need it onli i ll rank it up...

btw... wats the highest rank u ve seen ? i think i saw 2nd capt...

but there r a few 2nd liut i see runnin around tho...

not sure if this thread still going but i did calc. for myself. i will need exactly 4,990,000 prestige to get the title of Mugestu. i am 5th div Lieut. i plan on saving for 6 months and 25 days. i always top up during events and currently vip 6. i don't see why no one hasn't gotten the title yet. all you have to do is wait out 6 to 7 months

or am i wrong

You're right. Same plan here, bro ^) It's rather easy, if you can maintain top1 in your server. And after getting title you'll be able to maintain previous rank after downgrade, wich has pretty much the same bonuses

You could wait that amount of time, or you can just steadily upgrade yourself. Beauty Contest will negate some of it, I am sitting at 4th Div Capt. Plus with the extra damage it helps for clearing PvE also. Just my 2 cents.

I think if you're in a competition for 1st Place in Arena, it's better to take what rank you get.

By banking prestige, you'd also give up a lot of souls as well as PvE Rewards.

Also... that blinking is just too damn annoying.
