Right now I have about 3k gold, if I was interested in getting Ichibe, with the 50% rebate from the server, the rebates from reio , supergold and the halloween event, how much gold would i need to top up to get that 12k for ichibe?

Thanks burak ok ill keep that in mind, still haven't decided if I want him yet idk his skill doesn't seem to sink with me yet.

Ok 200% def to your team, but really in truly in most cases it either plays out that by the time my VG gets to skill(if he ever gets to skill), either the enemy team is already dead or if they're faster and better my team would be dead. Then there's the 20% hp recovery that's just meh....give or take and just like the scenario with the def buff is give or take. Id prefer a VG that buffs up himself , that way he could offer more than just being a meat shield.

If anyone else has any other opinions on him that could help clear my mind up a bit feel free to comment.

Let's just say he has to be faster than Noza, DBI and Ultima to be worth anything. Though this shouldn't be a problem since you already have Hiki. If you attack first and manage to counter these 3 characters you WILL survive for 2 rounds. First round from Hiki, 2nd round from Ichi.

Not to mention Hiki and Ichi will be awesome in Hollow Soul for lower VIPs or beginning players.. Hell, this even more baby mode than Noza.

Oh yeah and the mods + bonds.

I'm sticking to my DBI and I kinda want to keep the formation I currently have but I will be forced to switch partners eventually. I already wasted 14k gold on Hiki and since Isshin also got fixed I'm just going to wait for a proper PVE partner. (Isshin replacement)
But I'd advice people to hold their money to see what's coming within the next few months. However for lower VIPs/beginners I'd totally recommend getting both these characters.

Anyways Hiki+Ichi is a badass combo but there's like you said yourself always that if for us.

Ok think that decides it, I'll wait to see what else they release and besides like I said(idk why I keep being tempted) lol I'm looking for more of an offensive VG. For defensive VG's it just seems lik you have to stay alive long enough for them to serve purpose, I don't like prolonging a fight longer than I need too, especially moving further into end game territory. Cause I know if an offensive VG gets released and I got ahead and get ichibe I'm going to end up switching and it'll be a waste of 12k gold :/

Yeah for sure.. Eventually we'll get some type of hybrid between DBI and Ichibe.

Plus when I think about it, I already just had to level up hikifune and csb byakuya...I'm not in no mood to be levelling up a new partner from level 1 too :/ Its so annoying

tbh with u i feel like ichibei is useless right now. this is his first form, wait for his shikai or bankai form if i was in your position. sure he is tanky as fuck, but what does that matter when bankai rukia? stun skill? the thing is, he is slow as FUCK
