So my question may sound stupid, I think I know the answer but I'd like to analyze this more deeply.

WHICH IS BETTER FOR PVE.  FOR MORE DAMAGE.  LVL 80 RELAMPAGO SET OR LVL 110 mugetsu spirit forged set?

I know 99,99 percent will definately say mugetsu, but what got me thinking to ask is the damage percentage u lose when you switch.  Sure the lvl 80 rel set stats don't even come close to the 110 spirit forged set, but you get 10% dmg from it compared to the mugetsu 110 set which only gives you 7%.  So I'd like to know, in this case, would having the full level 80 rel. set with 10% dmg would that be better or worse than the level 110 set who has better attack, and stats, but only has 7% damage rate.

simple calculation, your phys/kido attack x damage rate you see in formation
do it for both sets, see which is higher

I thought damage was after physical or kido attack takes away physical defense or kido.

the 3% difference doesn't make up for the fact that the 110 mugetsu set gives more ATK, by a much higher amount

treat damage rate and PHY ATK the same for now unless you want a full explanation on it A.K.A Damage overall

NO not really. I really only wanted to know which would make me do more damage in pve, that's all. And if the difference between doing damage with one or the other would be significant.

By the way, what's the best pve enchant I can do to max my damage in events and balance it out in pvp? Currenlty I use pierce enchant. I know soul blade is good too, but what about Crit hit enchant, that gives you 20% crit damage, the one you get in gold enchant. Is that good for pve too? Or do you recommend sticking with pierce or rather go for soulblade?

it is but enemy defense isnt gonna change w/e equipment you use

Physical attack and damage rate are only the same at base damage rate.

Lets say you have 100,000 physical attack.

Adding 10% Physical attack is 110,000. Adding 10% damage is 110,000.

But if you have 100,000 attack and 200% damage rate.

Adding 10% attack is 110,000 attack = 220,000 damage. Adding 10% damage is 210,000 damage.

Physical attack is vastly more important then damage rate when you start to add up all the different % damage bonus's you actually get ( Mods, talents, bonds, zanpakutos, buffs, gear, and skill modifiers ).

Works the same way with Agility vs. Speed. Both are important, and they both effect one another, but when you have % Speed through various effects, Agility is more important ( mostly just because you can get far more of it, same with physical attack ).

Not to mention if you fight anyone who has defense (everyone) then attack gains more and more usefulness based on how much higher the enemy's defense is.

Vs 0 defense it's a wash.

But 110,000 attack vs 50,000 defense = 60k damage.
100k attack vs 50k defense with 10% damage = 55k damage.

110k attack vs 95k defense = 15k damage
100k attack vs 95k defense with 10% damage = 5.5k damage.

Adding 10% attack just did 3x the damage as 10% damage.

Crit enchant is much better for both PVP and PVE ^^

If you can't get that, then go for soulblade on PVE. Remember, Pierce ignored their DEF, which PVE enemies don't really have, so it is useless in PVE, get soulblade or Crit hit ^^

As I said, both DMG Rate and PHY ATK you are to treat the same for now unless you need clarification on both; you got for the 110 mugetsu set as i said

I have triple crown, but I use pierce on one assaulter (main) and angry slash on the other (isshin)

So between crit enchant and soul blade, Would crit enchant be better then? Oh you said crit enchant, ok, didn't noticed, thanks.
Should have went for the gold enchant stones in halloween event, but I lost all my points because the event disappeared one hour early.  It was 11p.m when I was going to get the gold enchant stones and other goodies from reio, when the events suddenly disappeared.
LUckily I got my piece of 100 gear from slots in time.  The only thing I got.  The rest I was gonna get like 30 minutes before reset, because I was busy doing dailies.

I learned my lesson now.  Always get all rewards from events 3 to 4 hours early and even 1 day early, just in case, lol.

well even if you use that crit enchant and if u already ve like 85% crit already with triple crown title 15% of it will be wasted since the cap is 90% unless you can beyond that dont waste it on crit enchant

instead soul blade or pierce is better, and angry slash, well ummm i nvr preferred using it

I think somebody said that crit enchant and crit rates are 2 different things. Crit enchant gives you 20% more crit damage, while triple crown gives you 20% critical hit rate. With the 1st (crit enchant), I do 20% more critical damage and with the 2nd (triple crown and crit stones), I have more chances of landing a critical hit.

you were right my friend, 20% dmg is enchant stone, just like b.renji's skill

he gives 50% crit dmg nd not crit hit rate.... so yeah please get that gold enchant on ur power house asap
